We went to the Dominican Republic for spring break and decided to stay in a villa versus a traditional hotel for the week that we were there.
It was a great decision, we had a chef and also another couple friend that went with us and their son.
This is the place we stayed at. Direct flights with Jet Blue, short drive to the property.
Pictures from the website, not my own.
The kids rooms, was so fantastic! Definitely going back.
We played the “festival of colors- Holi” while we were there. The kids loved it! These pictures make me want to go back!
I had a short (2 night ) stay in the hectic city of Mumbai. It’s a super hotel , centrally located and not super large.
It has fewer than 300 rooms and an amazing rooftop bar ( aire).
I had the premier executive Room, city view. It came with a complimentary transfer and breakfast daily plus a cocktail hour and free wifi. Room was over 300 sq ft with a nice sized closet.
In addition as a preferred travel agency , a complimentary 60 m massage ( with Kim- who was amazing ) was a nice perk.
Nice small gym, good restaurant and the a great location.
What’s not to like ?
Did I mention their signature deep soaking tubs , extra comfortable mattress and pillows ?
So when an ice cream place opens- you do what the locals do. Cue up- even if it means a 40 m wait on a sat night after dinner.
Ample hill- welcome to Gowanus.
Will let you know how it is!!
Decided to check out this place for lunch today. A hidden bakery in Gowanus, by a very talented chef.
It’s right across from “little neck clams” and “The Pines” which I have tried.
It’s on 3 rd avenue, between president and Carroll.
Here are some pics of the room at the one and only, Palm. Absolutely fab!
Some pictures of the city – the university , the court house, the oldest run making factory there at 3 corners etc….
